Work day: 24th April 2022

A number of possibilities presented themselves:

• Flower bed weeding and tidying;
• Compost management (including soil from work on the mosaic circle);
• Litter picking; 
• Removing and recycling pond debris;
• Dead-heading daffs;
• Lifting the turf and smoothing the grass run to the top of the mosaic setts;
• Pruning and tidying the Dell behind Court 5.

In the event, there was a focus on litter-picking, compost management (it’s had its appraisal and set goals for the coming year) and sculpting the area around the mosaic setts. As you can see from the pictures, this was both a social and solitary activity…
