Work Day report: July 12th 2020

Thanks to all for a huge turnout and lots of productive work including:

• Pen corner flower bed created and shrubs planted
• Roadside hedges weeded, tidied and de-boxed 
• Brambles cut back and sapling surrounds cleared in the Dell
• Cannon Road end and Clubhouse flower beds weeded and tidied
• New compost brew initiated and compost/chippings wheeled to new bed
• Green waste gathered and stacked for Council collection
• Pond edges and water edges cleared and tidied
• Litter picked and paths swept
• Top and park side trimming of deciduous hedge begun
• Mrs Tufted-Duck and 11 little’uns ushered from tennis court and re-floated
• Grassy slopes sat upon, refreshments taken and chocolates enjoyed (thanks, Alison)
